Early in the morning, I stepped a brisk pace to a snack bar to buy breakfast. See shop front row up a long, if can't see the end.

I immediately went over and found the team at the end of in there. People in line, inside my heart but in thinking about their turn faster, better get their turn to buy breakfast. "Oh!" I hear the voice of a crisp and worry in my ears. I looked up and looked forward immediately. I saw a little girl, the age is only about eight years old, with fine features look worried of melon seed face, upper body wearing a blue coat, wearing a pair of white trousers. The little girl looks very small, small as stand instability. Her two hands constantly touched all the bags on the clothes and trousers. But, she didn't touch anything, so she's look is more disturbing. Her feet on the ground stomp. I guess it was a little girl must not bring money! So, now she was a bit like a cat on hot bricks. It is the little girl turn bought earlier. She picked up her to breakfast, and run away. Wife of shop-owner seems to have found nothing strange, continue to greet the next customer. I don't think the little girl to how to pick up the money ran away earlier? But I have no secret.

After five minutes, from the distance came the voice of a hurried running, getting closer. At this moment, I see is the little girl. How is she? Don't want to once again pay for breakfast? She crammed into the front of the crowd, panting to say to the wife of shop-owner: "aunt...... give you money..." Said as he handed the money to her. The wife of shop-owner took the coin just looked at her for a while, say with smile: "kid, you sincere real!" The little girl smiled sweetly, turned away.

I looked at her far of figure, looking at the fluttering red scarf, think that red scarf is so conspicuous, so bright!

Honest Man: The Life of Budd Dwyer
Across the internet, in university classrooms, and in small American towns like Meadville, the story of R. Budd Dwyer's political downfall and subsequent end is told; still there are many people today who wouldn't know him if asked to look at a picture and identify the man, and likely just as few who know him by name. It is the story of Dywer's very public and statement making suicide, and the fact that it was televised, that transcends.
Honest Man provides a deeper look into the story of former State Rep. and Pennsylvania Treasurer Budd Dwyer, his background, people who knew him in varying capacities, and the so called conspiracy that many who were closest to him, and some who were certainly not, point to as the true reason behind the former politician and family man's decision to end his life. It doesn't matter what your level of familiarity is with the story or the man.

When George was about six years old, he was made the wealthy master of a hatchet of which, like most little boys, he was extremely fond. He went about chopping everything that came his way.

One day, as he wandered about the garden amusing himself by hacking his mother's pea sticks, he found a beautiful, young English cherry tree, of which his father was most proud. He tried the edge of his hatchet on the trunk of the tree and barked it so that it died.

Some time after this, his father discovered what had happened to his favorite tree. He came into the house in great anger, and demanded to know who the mischievous person was who had cut away the bark. Nobody could tell him anything about it.

Just then George, with his little hatchet, came into the room.

"George,'' said his father, "do you know who has killed my beautiful little cherry tree yonder in the garden? I would not have taken five guineas for it!''

This was a hard question to answer, and for a moment George was staggered by it, but quickly recovering himself he cried:

"I cannot tell a lie, father, you know I cannot tell a lie! I did cut it with my little hatchet.''

The anger died out of his father's face, and taking the boy tenderly in his arms, he said:

"My son, that you should not be afraid to tell the truth is more to me than a thousand trees! Yes - though they were blossomed with silver and had leaves of the purest gold!'

第一篇Good faith

It is true that most of us value honesty highly. However, nowadays we often confront confidence crisis such as cheating, overcharging, fake commodities and so on. I think that we should be honest because being honest is not only beneficial to ourselves but also to others and the whole society. The reasons can be listed as follows.Firstly, only honest people can be truly respected by the others and can make more friends over a long period of time. Secondly, honesty, which is the traditional virtue of the Chinese people, can make our life easier and more harmonious. For example, consumers will not be afraid of being overcharged if dealers are honest, and thus dealers can win over more customers. Thirdly, honesty can make our society more stable. A case in point is that Singapore, a society featuring trustworthiness and integrity, has a comparatively low criminal rate.

It goes without saying that being honest is of great benefit to both the community and individuals. There is no doubt that we should foster the spirit of honesty. In conclusion, laying stress on honesty will become the public morals in our society

  Honesty Is Gold
Honesty means speakingthe truth and being fair and upright in act.He who lies and cheats is dishonest.:Those who gain fortunes not by hard labour but by other means is dishonest.
Honesty is a good virtue. If you are honest all the time, you’ll be trusted and respected by others.A liar is always looked down upon and regarded as a black sheep by the people around.Once you lie, people will never believe you even if you speak the truth.
However,in the tide of commodity economy today,it seems that more and more people believe in money at the sacrifice of honesty. To them, among such things as health,beauty,m6ney,intelligence,honesty,reputation and talent, honesty is the only thing that can be east away. They don’t understand or pretend not to understand that honesty is the biggest fortune humans own,and that it is the prerequisite for doing everything well.I think these people areto be pitied.
In short, honesty is gold.Honest, your reputation will become great;dishonest, your name will be spoiled and your personality degraded. Therefore,we should never make such an excuse as "A little dishonesty is only a trifle thing. We should eradicate immediately the seed of dishonesty once it is sowed in our minds.
