生日蛋糕

丈夫想举办一个聚会为妻子庆祝生日，所以他去预定了一个生日蛋糕。工作人员问他蛋糕上需要写些什么文字，他想了一会说：“put‘you are getting older but you are getting better.’”工作人员又问他这些文字需要怎么排列，他又想了一会，然后说：“Well, put ‘You are getting older’at the top and ‘but you are getting better’ at the bottom.”
生日聚会那天，蛋糕送来了，当所有的宾客看到蛋糕上的文字后都显的很吃惊，那上面写着：You are getting older at the top, but you are getting better at the bottom.
