我虽然不是在英国留学，但加拿大的Essay和英国的应该是一样的，哈哈

第一段：引文（与topic相关的信息）之后点明你的topic，然后列举最起码三个（三个是最常用的）可以支撑你topic的观点。举个栗子：例如我的essay主题是中国经济的发展，我会在第一段概述中国近代经济史的发展趋势，并对中国现代经济发展趋势做一个展望，之后便是我为什么会得出这个结论，也就是论点。

第二段，第一个论点，并详细介绍依据。

第三段，第二个论点，并详细介绍依据

第四段，第三个论点，并详细介绍依据

第五段，conculusion.再次强调自己的topic和依据。

essay就是用来论证自己观点的一个过程，你可以有任何可以想到的观点，但必须要有reference作为依据，不能只是空想。所以每个论点都需要reference，在此基础上证明你观点的正确性。上述的分段只是一个标配，可以根据自己知识的容量做适当的调整。例如你在某个论点或者展望有充足的资料，可以适当增加分段
